A Message from Your Treasurer

Diane Barnes has been a member of Toastmasters since 1979.  She is currently serving as an Area Governor for D3 and has recently been appointed as District Treasurer.

A Distinguished Toastmaster and Area Governor ( four times previously), she is currently working on another DTM.  Her new "Icebreaker" is in preparation.

Diane was a Federal Employee for thirty years before recently retiring in 2008. Diane currently holds a GPA of 4.0 in a Bookkeeping and Accounting on line course out of Colorado and is now active in a number of Toastmaster roles and many clubs.

She is married to Bil Barnes, DTM, also District Parliamentarian.  Bil often turns to her for "inspiration" and "reminders" and notes her sense of humor and dedication.
