A Message from Your District Governor |
| |
|
Time flies. |
| |
|
Here we are near the end of the first quarter of the district year. Can you believe it? |
| |
|
Two important events are upon us: contests and dues collection. Hopefully, both are underway in your clubs. |
| |
|
Club contests need to be complete by September 27, 2008, then the Area contests may begin. Please lend your support to your Area and Division Governor when they announce their contest dates...view the contest calendar here. |
| |
|
Every member should receive a written notice about dues, either by mail or email. Start collecting now, and let members know you want them to rejoin. You may pay dues on line - it's quick and easy. |
| |
|
I hope to see most of you at various contests and at the District Fall Conference, November 8, 2008. |

The most obvious way of getting guests is to invite people. But for some reason many Toastmasters are just shy about it. They intend to, but... well, you know.
What if everybody in the club invited a guest every time they give a speech? Could that work? It did for us. Here’s how:
