Since winning the second place title in the 2003 World Championship of Public Speaking, Toastmaster David Sanfacon has continued to Take Center Stage with his acting career.
The newest production is Company One’s "Christmas Belles," a Christmas farce, written by Nicholas Hope, Jessie Jones, and Jamie Wooten, and directed by Greg Maraio.
It's Christmas season in the small town of Fayro, Texas. The infamous Futrelle Sisters (Frankie, Twink, and Honey Raye) are not exactly in a festive mood. Cranky Frankie overdue by several weeks with her second set of twins. Twink, recently jilted and bitter about it, is in jail for inadvertently burning down half the town. Hot flash-suffering Honey Raye is desperately trying to keep the Tabernacle of the Lamb's Christmas Program from spiraling into chaos. If y’all bring the eggnog, Company One will provide all the belly-laughs! Ho-ho!
See the performance to enliven your holiday season and laugh uproariously. It runs December 4, 2009 to December 19, 2009 at the Boston Playwright’s Theater.
